Booz Allen Hamilton Selects Internosis to Lead Global IT Initiative.

ARLINGTON, Va. -- Internosis, a privately held IT services firm, today announced that Booz Allen Hamilton has awarded Internosis the first phase of its Software Collaboration contract. As the lead architect, Internosis will work with Booz Allen to design, develop and deploy the foundation for a powerful collaboration infrastructure to support Booz Allen staff worldwide. The team will begin by building a state-of-the-art enterprise messaging system, without compromising the security of either client data or Booz Allen's intellectual capital.

During this project, Internosis, Microsoft and Booz Allen will implement a Microsoft Exchange-based backbone and a variety of new technologies to support email, shared calendar, instant messaging, project management and information worker productivity. Future phases will build on this foundation by incorporating portal technology, intelligent search, document sharing, eLearning, and records management capabilities.
