Bootlegging bootlegging, in the United States, the illegal distribution or production of liquor and other highly taxed goods. First practiced when liquor taxes were high, bootlegging was instrumental in defeating early attempts to regulate the liquor business by taxation. John Cornelius Ray (born March 1 1957 in Chouteau, Oklahoma, USA) is a former second baseman in Major League Baseball who had a 10-year career from 1981 to 1990. Gasca was found guilty of seven criminal counts related to movie bootlegging. The court ruled he used a camcorder to pirate copies of "Anger Management," "8 Mile" and "The Core."
