Bootle match off after motorway horror smash.

BOOTLE hit the headlines in the Vodkat League for all the wrong reasons with their game at Maine Road having to be hastily postponed.

Travelling to the game, three cars transporting players and officials of the clubwas involved in a multi vehicle car accident on the M60 between Junctions 10 and 11 which required the motorway to be closed for a period of time. A number of people were taken to local hospitals but thankfully no serious injuries were sustained.
