Boothy's old mate planning surprise.

Worcester City veteran Graham Hyde Graham Hyde (born November 10 1970 in Doncaster, England) is a professional footballer, currently playing for Southern League Premier Division side Halesowen Town, where he plays as a midfielder.  can't wait to tackle his old teammate Andy Booth Andrew "Andy" Booth (born December 6, 1973 in Huddersfield) is a professional footballer for Huddersfield Town in Coca-Cola League One.

The Early Years

"Boothy", as he quickly became known as, was born in Huddersfield, England.
 in the Cup.

The 35-year-old was at Sheffield Wednesday with Booth for three years until 1999 and knows the Town striker well.

He also knows the FA Cup, having been a losing finalist with Wednesday against Arsenal 12 years ago, and admits the competition still gives him "a special buzz."

Hyde will be a key figure in the Conference North club's midfield on Sunday when St George's Lane History

"It's a great occasion for us all to look forward to and a massive game for the club," said Hyde, who lives in Solihull and was with Hereford United last season.

"Financially it's a great help to the club and from a playing point of view, there is no pressure on us at all.

"We had all the pressure in the last round against Chippenham, especially when we knew the prize for the replay was a home televised tie against a League club, and that has made us even more determined to enjoy ourselves in the second round.

"We know Huddersfield are a good team and I know what a good player Andy Booth is from our days at Sheffield Wednesday. I haven't rung him up or anything, but we'll have a chat when they come down and I'm sure he'll be looking forward to the game as much as I am."

Hyde accepts he won't have many more big Cup days (if any) in his career and he's keen to make the most of Town's visit.

"You get a massive buzz from games like this and, at our level, it's even more so," said Doncaster-born Hyde.

"We had four times our usual crowd for the replay in the last round and it will be another full house against Huddersfield.

"As you can imagine, that's giving the whole club a lift and, from my own point of view, it doesn't matter how old you are, you still want to play in games like this."

While Hyde and Des Lyttle Desmond "Des" Lyttle (born September 24, 1971 in Wolverhampton, England) is a professional footballer, currently playing for Conference North side Tamworth, where he plays as a defender.  have plenty of big-match League experience under their belts - as does player-manager Andy Preece Andrew Preece (born March 27 1967 in Evesham, Worcestershire) is an English former professional footballer. Now a manager, he is currently in charge of Worcester City.  - most of the Worcester squad are looking forward to the biggest game of their lives.

"Our younger lads will gain a great deal of experience from this," explained Hyde.

"There's nothing better than playing in front of good crowds and in a cracking atmosphere and, having had a taste of it already, hopefully our lads will want more of it.

"The great thing about the FA Cup is that you never know what might happen.

"If Huddersfield have an off day and we do well - getting our share of good luck - it could be a very good game."

watch Town against both Bradford and Nottingham Forest.

"The only disappointment since I came to this club is that we haven't done better in the League, but hopefully this Cup run will lead to that," added Hyde.

"We are chuffed to have got through to this stage and to have a big home tie to look forward to, but we deserve it.

"All the lads have worked hard and, while it went to a replay against Chippenham, I thought we edged it over the two games.

"We had by far the better chances at our place, but their keeper made some great saves to keep it close.

"Fortunately, Adam Webster came up with a goal for us and, in those circumstances, you don't worry about how they go in.

"It wasn't the greatest goal but, once you see the net bulge you don't worry about that. The last 10 minutes seemed to take an age, but the lads were delighted and we'll settle for the same result again!"
