Booth is back and ready for battle; SOUTHPORT.

Byline: PHIL KIRKBRIDE

AREFRESHED Robbie Booth says a spell away from Southport was vital for his future at the club. The 23-year-old Port winger recently returned to the Yellows after a two-month loan spell at Vauxhall Motors and admitted it was imperative he made the move.

Struggling to get in the side after a pre-season blighted by illness, Booth came back to the Sandgrounders last month and made an immediate impact.

He said: "It''s great to be back at the club.

"I was just excited to be back and hopefully now I can do the business."

Meanwhile boss Liam Watson is demanding his players do not take Zamaretto Premier Division Stourbridge lightly.

He said: "Stourbridge will be a big, strong and awkward side.

"They did play Walsall in the FA Cup and only lost 1-0, but they are struggling in the league. "They don't score many goals but when you come up against sides like this in cup competitions, you have just got to make sure you are right - we will attack them."
