Booth: Let the memories roll!
Town legend Andy Booth admits career memories will come flooding back tomorrow when Real Sociedad visit to kick-off his testimonial year.
The 32-year-old striker will captain Town for the showpiece Galpharm event (7.45) and is not only looking forward to facing the Primera Liga giants but also to the reunion of some favourite Leeds Road old boys.
World Cup winner Ray Wilson and the 1994-95 Wembley promotion team are among those who will be introduced to the crowd.
And Booth, whose 56-page testimonial brochure will be on sale for the first time at pounds 5, hopes everyone will enjoy the occasion.
"I'm really looking forward to it and, hopefully, everyone will enjoy themselves," said the homegrown hero with 125 goals in two spells at Town.
"It's brilliant that a club of the stature of Real Sociedad have agreed to take part and I know the lads are looking forward to playing against a top European team like them.
"I know some of the old players are really looking forward to having a get-together again as well.
