The store will open in January, according to The Lansco Corporation.

While financial terms of the 10-year lease are not being disclosed, the landlord had been asking $110 psf based on the ground floor, according to Christine Emery and Yair Staav, senior managing directors at Lansco, and the landlord's exclusive leasing agents. Marc Finkelstein, president of Retail Strategies, represented UGG[R].

"The retail space at 79 Mercer Street has excellent lighting, a large open layout and heavy foot traffic," said Staav. "It's a great place for UGG[R] to open its first retail store in Manhattan."
