Boost for disabled.A NORTH Birmingham disability group has secured vital funding for three motorised fold-up scooters and two wheelchairs. Councillor Keith Linnecor Keith Linnecor is a Labour Party Councillor representing the Oscott Ward at Birmingham City Council in England. He was elected in 1996 and is due to stand for re-election in 2007. (Lab, Oscott) said: "I was really pleased when I heard that the funding request from Grass Roots had been successful. "I know that this grant of a few thousand pounds will make a big difference. "These scooters and chairs will help elderly and disabled residents to go on trips with groups in the future." Grass Roots Grants is funded by the Office of the Third Sector (OTS See Office of Thrift Supervision. ) and is managed by the Community Development Foundation. |
