Boost Mobile and Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Announce Exclusive Global Mobile Telecommunications Sponsorship and Content Licensing Partnership; Surfing's Premier World Tour Goes Wireless.

In addition to its own customer base, presently more than 2.6 million subscribers, Boost Mobile will be exploring delivering the mobile content internationally via licensing with other mobile carriers outside the U.S. Content to be made available from the Foster's ASP Men's World Tour will include scoring updates, wallpapers, photographs and videos. Boost Mobile will also be utilizing a number of its marketing assets, advertising and customer communications to promote the ASP and the WCT WCT World Championship Tour (surfing competition)

The Boost Mobile Pro, now in its fifth year, is the only WCT event on the U.S. mainland, and will be held at Lower Trestles, Calif. in September 2006. The winner of the event in 2005 was the 2005 World Champion Kelly Slater Kelly Slater (b. Robert Kelly Slater February 11 1972, Cocoa Beach, Florida) is the most successful professional surfer in the history of the sport.

Slater is an eight time world champion and has been sponsored by Quiksilver since 1990.
