(NASDAQ: BOOL), the leader in Enterprise Automation for managing distributed systems, today announced the availability of MainView AutoOPERATOR 4.1.0 which introduces significant enhancements including the AutoRULE tool for automatic conversion of CA-AutoMate automation rules to AutoOPERATOR format.

When Computer Associates acquired Legent Corp. a year ago, it added Legents OPS/MVS, AutoMate and Prevail to its own CA-OPERA package for a total of four MVS automation offerings. AutoOPERATOR 4.1.0 provides a more robust, economical and easy-to-use alternative to any of these offerings, and is especially attractive to AutoMate users because of the no-code conversion capability now included which automatically replaces CA-AutoMate automation with AutoOPERATOR rules.

In addition, a tighter interface between AutoOPERATOR 4.1.0 and Boole & Babbage COMMAND/POST provides more extensive help information to further assist in problem diagnosis and correction.
