Boole & Babbage Bundles Command MQ Management Solution with IBM MQSeries; Customers Gain Faster and Easier MQSeries Procurement, Deployment and Management.

, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 16, 1999--Boole & Babbage (Nasdaq:BOOL) today announced that it will work in unison with IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries)  to make it easier for users to obtain, deploy and manage MQSeries via a new global MQSeries OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  agreement.

IBM and Boole & Babbage will bundle the industry-leading MQSeries message-queuing middleware and Command MQ management products to better address the market demand for the combined solution.
