) opened a 12,500-square-foot store in Baton Rouge Baton Rouge (băt`ən rzh) [Fr.,=red stick], city (1990 pop. 219,531), state capital and seat of East Baton Rouge parish, SE La.  this October. The store, located in Siegen Lane Marketplace at 10533 South Mall Drive, is Books-A-Million's second location in Baton Rouge and the 12th location in Louisiana.
