Books For Life Foundation Announces $25,000 Literary Awards.

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 14, 2003

Books For Life Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating aspiring authors and poets about the publishing process, is pleased to announce the $25,000 John T. Lupton "New Voices In Literature" Awards. The Lupton Awards are the largest prizes ever presented for query letters and book proposals only -- no manuscript required. The winner in the fiction and non-fiction categories will each receive $10,000. The prizes also include $2500.00 for travel and expense costs of attending the May 28, 2003 BookExpo America convention in Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. , California, where the winners will receive their awards during the Writer's Digest Writer's Digest, established in 1920, is a United States magazine devoted to both beginning and established writers, offering interviews, market listings, calls for manuscripts, and how-to articles.  Writer's Conference.
