AROUND 7,500 bookmarks with information about scouting scouting: see Boy Scouts; Girl Scouts.

Anyone aged between 6 and 25 is welcome to join.

The bookmarks were produced by SET stationers in Penarth Penarth (pĕnärth`), town (1991 pop. 20,545), Vale of Glamorgan, S Wales. It is a suburb of Cardiff and a seaside resort. Turner House Art Gallery is in Penarth.  Road, Cardiff, to mark Scout Awareness Week last week.

Keith Burnfoot, area commissioner for scouting in Cardiff and the Vale, said: "We hope these book marks will raise awareness about scouting in Cardiff and the Vale. A total of 7,500 have been distributed and will be given away free.

"As well as being a useful tool, these bookmarks will also bring information into homes across the region about the organisation and we hope that many more people will get involved."
