A BOOKLET has been produced in Coventry Coventry, city, England
Coventry (kŏv`əntrē, kŭv`–), city (1991 pop. 318,718) and metropolitan district, central England. Coventry is an industrial center noted for its automobile production.
 to advise landlords on what they should be doing if they have several tenants in one house.

Coventry City Council's housing policy and services division has produced the booklet called Standards for Houses in Multiple Occupation. It's aimed at landlords who have several people not part of the same family, such as students, living in one house. It includes advice on fire safety, making sure the property is fit for tenants to live in and rooms such as basements.
