Booker plc receives Office of Fair Trading approval of acquisition of Marine Harvest International.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 21, 1994--Booker plc announced today that it has received notification from the Office of Fair Trading The Office of Fair Trading or OFT is a non-ministerial government department of the United Kingdom, established by the Fair Trading Act 1973, which enforces both consumer protection and competition law, acting as the UK's economic regulator.  ("OFT") in the United Kingdom that the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry will not refer the transactions contemplated by the previously announced acquisition by Booker of Marine Harvest Marine Harvest ASA (Pan Fish prior to 2007-02-06,[2] OSE: MHG) is a Norwegian seafood company with operations in a number of countries around the world. The tender offer remains, however, subject to further conditions, including the satisfaction of the Minimum Condition.
