1.1 billion people still do not have access to an adequate supply of drinking water drinking water

Poor water quality is a key cause of poor livelihood and health, resulting in the deaths of 3.1 million in 2002.

1.6 million lives could be saved annually by providing access to safe drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene hygiene, science of preserving and promoting the health of both the individual and the community. It has many aspects: personal hygiene (proper living habits, cleanliness of body and clothing, healthful diet, a balanced regimen of rest and exercise); domestic hygiene .

By 2030, 2/3 of the world's population will live in cities and towns, resulting in drastic increases and concentrations in urban water demands.
