The song stormed the charts when it was first released in 1983, rocketing to No1 all over the world.

Husky-voiced Tyler, 58, said: "I'm delighted with this version of Total Eclipse and it is wonderful to be working with such a great choir as Only Men Aloud."

Westlife and Tori Amos have covered the hit, which has also been sung on American Idol.
