Bonneville International Corp. appoints new CEO.


SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 7, 1996--Bonneville International Corp.'s board of directors Friday announced the appointment of Bruce T. Reese as president and chief executive officer.

Since 1993, Reese has served the international communications company Communications Company is a communications unit of the United States Marine Corps. They are part of Combat Logistics Regiment 37 , 3rd Marine Logistics Group (3MLG) and III Marine Expeditionary Force (III MEF). The unit is based out of the Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D.  as executive vice president and chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Reese succeeds Rodney H. Brady, who was recently named CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Deseret Management Corp., Bonneville's parent company.

Reese joined Bonneville International as associate general counsel in 1984 and became general counsel in 1985. In 1991, he assumed the company's executive vice president position and supervised Bonneville's Salt Lake City operations, including KSL KSL - Knowledge Systems Laboratory  Radio, KSL-TV, Video West Productions and Bonneville Communications. In 1993, he became chief operating officer, with responsibility for all operating divisions.

Prior to joining Bonneville, Reese practiced law with firms in Washington, D.C., and Denver. He began his legal career with the Antitrust Division of the Justice Department in Washington, D.C.

Nationally, Reese serves on the Radio Advertising Bureau's board of directors and was recently elected to the Radio Board of the National Association of Broadcasters.
