SAN ANTONIO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 21, 1996--U.S. Global Investors Inc. (U.S. Global) announced that the Bonnel Growth Fund will make a distribution estimated to be between $.16 and $.17 per share, representing both long-term capital gains Long-term capital gain

A profit on the sale of a security or mutual fund share that has been held for more than one year.
 and short-term capital gains Short-term capital gain

A profit on the sale of a security or mutual fund share that has been held for one year or less. A short-term capital gain is taxed as ordinary income.
 (taxable as ordinary income), to shareholders of record as of November 25, 1996.

The realized capital gains are direct result of the healthy one year return of over 21 percent(1). The total return for the Fund since inception is over 35 percent. -0-
