Bonded Motors opens Atlanta distribution facility.

:BMTR BMTR Backup Memory Transfer (AT&T) ) Wednesday announced that it has opened a distribution center at 1045 Lee's Mill Rd., Atlanta, GA 30349.

The Atlanta facility is the second regional distribution center opened by Bonded Motors in 16 months. Bonded Motors has headquarters in Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  and operates distribution centers in Washington and Georgia. Additional distribution centers are scheduled to open in the Northeast, Midwest and the Colorado area in the coming year.

"As our customers expand nationally, we need to be able to provide a wide range of remanufactured engines quickly and dependably. With the addition of four regional distribution centers, we will be able to deliver most engines within 48 hours anywhere in the continental U.S.," said Aaron Landon, Bonded Motors president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. . "Being able to ship from regional centers is also substantially less expensive than shipping individual engines from our headquarters facility in Los Angeles," he added.

Bonded Motors is a leading remanufacturer of car and light truck engines. The company completed its initial public offering of 1 million common shares of stock in April 1996.
