For the U.S. dates on the Bon Jovi Crush 2000 tour, two tickets were auctioned off on the eBay website to raise money in support of the foundation, a music industry charity which raises money to conduct research for illnesses including leukemia, cancer and AIDS. Fifteen cites and thirty tickets later, over $34,000 dollars was raised and donated to this great cause. Bidding on these tickets gave fans the opportunity to walk away with 2 front row seats, passes to experience part of the show on stage with the band, and the knowledge that the monies raised were being donated to the T.J. Martell Foundation. The T.J. Martell Foundation was founded in 1975 by music industry executive Tony Martell and his colleagues after the death of Mr. Martell's son, T.J., a victim of leukemia.
