The new tram for Frankfurt is 30 meters long and 2.40 meters wide - five centimetres wider than the vehicles currently in service. It has a capacity of 179 passengers, including 64 seated. The vehicles are based on tested components of the LF2000 family, which has already proven to be a success in the cities of Kassel, Essen and Schwerin, Germany as well as Krakow, Poland.
