Bombardier Receives Order for Modernization of 60 Electrical Trainsets from the Netherlands Railways.

The value of the contract is approximately Cdn$132 million (90 million euros).

The modernization will take place at Bombardier's facilities in Randers, Denmark. The delivery will begin in the summer of 2003 and go on until the summer of 2006.

 with this project is to extend the lifetime of the trainsets for 15 years, to introduce cost-effective solutions in operation and to improve the passenger comfort.
