Hybrid engine that provides jet thrust and also drives a propeller. It is similar to the turbojet except that an added turbine, behind the combustion chamber, works through a shaft and speed-reducing gears to turn a
 airliners for its regional operations.

A subsidiary of All Nippon Airways, the largest domestic airline in Japan, ANK will utilize its Q300 aircraft on routes between Tokyo International Airport Tokyo International Airport (東京国際空港   at Haneda and islands within Tokyo's domain, and for flights within Hokkaido, Japan's northernmost prefecture.

The Q Series family of aircraft is composed of the 37- to 39-seat Q100 and Q200, 50- to 56-seat Q300 and the new 68- to 78-seat Q400. All feature the superb Noise and Vibration Suppression (NVS NVS - Non-Volatile Storage ) system which provides the quietest and most vibration-free passenger cabin of any propeller-driven aircraft.
