Bombardier Learjet 40 XR Soars into Service: First Group of New Jets Flying with Traditional Customers and Flexjet Owners.


WICHITA, Kan. -- Bombardier today announced the entry into service of its next generation Learjet 40 XR premium light jet. Launched in 2004, the Learjet 40 XR business jet surpasses the outstanding performance of the successful Learjet 40 aircraft by flying even further out of challenging airfields, and by delivering faster time-to-climb performance and shorter flight times.
