Representatives of the media are invited to participate in a press briefing following the publication of the Canadian and Brazilian governments' responses to the World Trade Organization (WTO See World Trade Organization. ) Appellate Body The Appellate Body of the WTO is a standing body of seven persons that hears appeals from reports issued by Panels in disputes brought by WTO Members. It was established in 1995 under Article 17 of the Understanding on Rules and Procedures Governing the Settlement of  ruling of Aug. 2 relating to the regional aircraft market.

The conference call will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. Mr. Yvan Allaire, executive vice president of Bombardier Inc., will be conducting the briefing for journalists.
