The Northern Ireland Industrial Tribunal has issued a summary decision which supports the claims made by 292 of Bombardier's Belfast operation's 7,200 unionized employees regarding changes made in holiday pay calculations in 1995.

The background to this case is that Bombardier Aerospace in Northern Ireland changed the way in which it calculated holiday entitlement in 1995.

The potential total cost to Bombardier Aerospace is estimated at less than Cdn$1.7 million (US$1.1 million) and full financial provision has been made.
