Bombardier's La Pocatiere Site to Celebrate 1000th Carbody for New York Commuter Railroads.


WHAT:   Bombardier Transportation's production site in La Pocatiere
        will celebrate an impressive achievement - production of the
        1000th train carbody for a contract with New York City's two
        commuter railroads: Long Island Rail Road and Metro North
        Railroad. The organization will be celebrating this milestone
        with employees and guests at a special on-site event in La
        Pocatiere.

        Bombardier is inviting members of the media to attend the
        ceremony. A press conference where Mr. Beaudoin will respond
        to media's questions will follow. A photo-opportunity will
        feature the 1000th carbody manufactured at Bombardier's La
        Pocatiere site.  Plant visits will be organized followed by a
        lunch.
