Bomb hoax plea changed.


AN AIRLINE passenger who previously admitted perpetrating a bomb hoax as he checked in for a flight to Ireland has changed his plea.

James Tully James Tully (18 September1915—20 May1992) was a prominent Irish trade unionist, politician and Deputy Leader of the Irish Labour Party who served as a minister in a series of Irish Fine Gael-Labour coalition governments. , aged 41, was arrested on July 5 this year at Birmingham International Airport Birmingham International Airport may refer to:

 after prosecutors said he falsely claimed to have explosives in his luggage.

Tully, of Kings Heath, Birmingham, pleaded guilty to communicating false information contrary to the Criminal Law Act at a hearing last month and was due to be sentenced at Warwick Crown Court today.

But Judge Richard Cole accepted a request that his plea be changed, and adjourned the until August 17.
