Bomar Specialties solidifies presence in Asia.


Joseph Leon, general manager of Bomar Specialties Company, announced marketing steps that will strengthen the company's presence in the Asian market.

Cliff Zheng has joined Bomar as technical applications manager--Asia. He will be based in Shanghai, with responsibility for China as well as Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. Mr. Zheng has a bachelor's degree in application chemistry and more than seven years experience in the formulation of UV coatings, adhesives and inks.

Bomar has appointed IGM Resins International Trading Co. to be its sales representative for the Asian market. IGM, with offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai, is also the exclusive distributor of Bomar oligomers in China, Korea and Malaysia. IGM will stock Bomar products locally. David Zhang, IGM's UV business manager Far East, will handle the Bomar product line.
