Bolton boss: Everton our Blueprint; EVERTON.GARY MEGSON Gary John Megson (born 2 May, 1959 in Manchester) is a former English footballer and manager. He has recently been appointed as Leicester City's new manager. As a player, he is arguably best remembered from his days at Sheffield Wednesday, where his father Don Megson also played has hailed the "brilliant" job that David Moyes David William Moyes (b. April 25, 1963 in Glasgow, Scotland) is a football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of Everton F.C.. He has twice been named, in 2003 and 2005, as the 'League Managers' Association manager of the year', and is one of the younger has done at Everton and believes the Goodison Park club are the ideal blueprint for Bolton to follow. Trotters boss Megson has watched on in admiration during the past seven years as Moyes has made the Blues a forced to be reckoned with. They have often punched above their weight, pipping Liverpool to the fourth Champions League spot in 2005 and dumping their rivals out of the FA Cup on Wednesday. Megson was at Goodison Park to witness Dan Gosling's extra-time strike book Everton's fifth-round spot, and he will back there tomorrow with Bolton. "David is a good friend of mine," said Megson.
