And the latest film unit to land in Srinagar is the cast and crew of a short film "Megha' directed by film maker Onir. The lead actor of the film is Sanjay Suri, who is a native of Kashmir. He said that the film being shot in Kashmir would send out a powerful message to the entire world about normalcy returning to the region. "Whoever has shot films in Kashmir has gone back with a message saying that situation is normal. My motive is also that film units should come here as it helps in enhancing employment and boosting tourism. There is no better medium than films to convey to the entire world that situation in Kashmir is returning back to normal," said Suri.
