Bolle Inc. Names Howard Leight Industries Exclusive Distributor of Safety Eyewear For Americas and Germany.

:EYE), announced today that it has named Howard Leight Industries, a leading manufacturer and distributor of industrial hearing protection, its exclusive safety eyewear distributor in the Americas and Germany.

Mr. Gary Kiedaisch, Chief Executive Officer of Bolle Inc., said, "Our strategic partnership with the Howard Leight organization will provide Bolle with an immediate presence in the Americas and Germany. Bolle safety eyewear accounts for more than 20% of Bolle sales worldwide, and is already the market leader in the UK and Australia, and second in the protection market in France. Howard Leight's well-developed distribution in the Americas and Germany will provide a platform from which Bolle Safety can grow."

With new marketing initiatives for 1998, including the partnership with Howard Leight and the recently announced exclusive agreement with Alyn Corporation for the production of Bolle(R) metal matrix sunglass frames utilizing Boralyn(R), Bolle is poised for significant growth.
