Boingo sells ultra-high-speed wireless Internet access to business travelers in heavily trafficked hot-spots, including hotels, airports, convention centers and cafes. The physical network is provided by Boingo's numerous wireless network partners, and uses the industry standard wireless LAN technology called "Wi-Fi". Boingo provides seamless connection and authentication across this patchwork of carriers through its Boingo Software.
