ALBUQUERQUE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 10, 1996--Bank of America this month is launching a major campaign in New Mexistates offering consumers a chance to win $1 million in prizes. During the summer campaign, people who open a personal checking or apply for the bank's Versatel Check Card will receive scratch-off game cards giving them a chance to win prizes such as a 20-inch television, binoculars, or a set of 1996 Olympic Games Olympic games, premier athletic meeting of ancient Greece, and, in modern times, series of international sports contests. In addition to the scratcher game, people who make a purchase using their Versatel Check Card will be entered in the bank's Check Card Challenge sweepstakes drawing with an unusual grand prize -- $25,000 credited to the winner's Versatel Check Card account.
