Boenning & Scattergood Selects Michael A. Galantino to Head Growing Private Client Group.

New Team Strengthens Firm's Full Complement of Investment Services

WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. -- Boenning & Scattergood, Inc., a leading independent investment firm in the Mid-Atlantic region since 1914, has appointed Michael A. Galantino to the position of Managing Director of its Private Client Group.

The appointment of Galantino comes at a time of growth for Boenning & Scattergood, which provides a full complement of investment services to institutions, high net worth individuals and corporate clients. Services include proprietary research, sales, trading, investment banking and public finance. The firm also publishes the Mid-Atlantic Monthly Index, which spotlights for investors under-researched and under-valued stocks in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The firm selected Galantino because of his experience in serving the customized investment needs of individuals and institutions, as well as his ability to develop measurable ways to ensure the highest possible level of service. His background also works well with the firm's commitment to being independent and large enough to provide a full spectrum of investment choices and services, yet small enough to provide comprehensive and objective investment solutions.

Galantino, who serves on the Marketing Board of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, has over 22 years of experience in the financial services industry, including portfolio management, asset gathering and organizational management. He was most recently president of Haverford Financial Services in Radnor, PA, a national large cap quality growth money manager. Prior to that, Galantino spent 14 years at UBS Financial Services in Philadelphia, where he was senior vice president and regional sales manager. Earlier in his career, he was a vice president at Salomon Smith Barney in Philadelphia.

In his role as leader of the Private Client Group, Galantino will oversee a team of investment professionals serving the needs of individuals, institutions, business owners and C-level executives.

Galantino holds a B.A. in Accounting/Economics from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Conestoga Generals Youth Athletic Organization. He resides in Berwyn, PA with his wife, Angela, and four children.
