Air Algerie already has a 737 fleet of 15 planes, and Abdelwahid Bouabdallah, its CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , said that the order was "a natural progression" for the airline.

Although Boeing did not say the value of the deals, the planes usually sell for between $72.5 million and $81 million at list prices, reports the Associated Press.
