The engines were accepted at a General Electric plant, in Massachusetts Massachusetts (măsəch `sĭts), most populous of the New England states of the NE United States. , although Boeing
is building three X-45C aircraft in St. Louis. Each of the drones will
be powered by a single F404 engine, which will give the vessel a
1200-nautical mile radius at 0.80 Mach up to 40,000 feet. The first
X-45C flight is scheduled for 2007.
