Boeing Selects Mxi Technologies Software for New Airplane Health Management Service.

Under the terms of the agreement, Mxi Technologies will supply to Boeing a software module from its Maintenix(R) product suite that will manage airplane data sent in real time from the air to the ground. The fault-forwarding and prognostic data will be integrated with Boeing information on airplane design, in-service experience and aggregate fleet performance to create a single source of information from which airlines can make maintenance decisions. In addition, AHM will support long-term fleet reliability programs by helping airlines identify recurring re·cur

The AHM service will use the "Diagnostic & Prognostic" module of the Maintenix software, which has been in airline use since July 2000. The module captures, stores and interprets fault data; assesses the effects on airplane dispatch A dispatch or dispatches can refer to:
