Following a previously announced, successful technology pilot, Boeing Commercial Airplane Group will use Accelis, SDRC's e-Business Integration solution, to allow users working in the Define and Control Airplane Configuration/Manufacturing Resource Management (DCAC/MRM) system to automatically and transparently update legacy databases along with the DCAC/MRM database itself. The implementation of Accelis provides the users with a smooth transition from Boeing legacy systems to the DCAC/MRM system. Boeing is using Accelis to ease engineering data management by automatically updating the product bill of material across multiple databases.
