SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 29, 1999--

) is holding a solidarity rally at 2 p.m., Monday (Oct. 4) in the Rainier Room of the Seattle Center Seattle Center is a fairground, park and arts and entertainment center in Seattle, Washington. The 74-acre campus is the site used in 1962 by the Century 21 Exposition. It is located just north of Belltown in Lower Queen Anne.

The rally comes as Boeing's second largest labor union labor union: see union, labor.  prepares to enter face-to-face negotiations on new contracts for three employee bargaining groups. Current contracts expires Dec. 1. Face to face negotiations on new agreements are scheduled to start Oct. 25. During the rally, SPEEA members will hear about their negotiating teams' proposals to Boeing. The teams will deliver their contract proposals to Boeing earlier in the morning.
