Boeing, in major expansion, to add 1,000 jobs in Oklahoma City.OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 10, 1996--The Boeing Company announced today it will add more than 1,000 jobs to its existing facilities in Oklahoma City Oklahoma City (1990 pop. 444,719), state capital, and seat of Oklahoma co., central Okla., on the North Canadian River; inc. 1890. Debrot is General Manager of Boeing's defense and space group product support division. "Today's announcement continues the tradition of partnership we have felt with both the people of the Oklahoma City area and our customers, the Air Force professionals at Tinker Air Force Base," Debrot said.
