A date for the inquest into Princess Diana's death, which happened six years ago to the day yesterday, is expected to be set next week.

Mr Rees-Jones was left physically shattered after the horrific crash in an armoured Merecedes in a Paris underpass late on the evening of August 31,1997.

After years rebuilding his body and life,he married teacher Ann Scott at the Lake Vyrnwy Hotel in Llanwddyn, Powys,last year.

Speaking about the crash on a documentary,Mr Rees-Jones maintained he remembers very little.

Since returning to Oswestry,he has preferred to keep himself out of the limelight.

Dodi's father Mohammed Al Fayed has campaigned for a public inquiry after the crash.
