Body of murder victim exhumed.A CEMETERY cemetery, name used by early Christians to designate a place for burying the dead. First applied in Christian burials in the Roman catacombs, the word cemetery came into general usage in the 15th cent. was closed yesterday while police exhumed the body of a murder victim in the hope that scientific advances can finally uncover the dead man's identity 18 years after he was killed. Detectives from Sussex Police's major crime branch also hope the technological strides made since the middle-aged man's death in 1991 could also help identify his killer.
