THE dead woman found in the sea near Dunbar, East Lothian East Lothian (lō`thēən), council area (1993 est. pop. 85,640), 262 sq mi (677 sq km), and former county, SE Scotland. Under the Local Government Act of 1973, the county of East Lothian became (1975) part of the new Lothian region, , at the weekend is missing Linda Hill, police have confirmed.

Mrs Hill, 41, disappeared from her mobile home in Monifieth, Angus, at about 6.45am on April 6.

Husband Kenny, 44, and daughter Claire, 21, were being comforted by family in Dundee yesterday.

A dog-walker reported a figure standing at the mouth of the Tay Estuary around the time Linda went missing. Tayside Police Tayside Police is the police force covering the Scottish council areas of Angus, City of Dundee and Perth and Kinross (the former Tayside region). The total area covered by the force is 2,896 square miles with a population of 388,000.  said: "There are no suspicious circumstances."
