Body doubles.

My friend copies everything I do! I was flattered at first, but now I'm creeped out. She wears the same makeup, clothes, hair style, and even has the same crush! How do I tell her enough is enough?

Feeling like you're starring in a Mary-Kate and Ashley movie--even though you're not a twin--can get a little tiring. Sure, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery Flattery

. But when you feel like your identity is being Xeroxed, those wise words fall flat. Subtly clue your friend in that she needs to develop her own sense of style. When you two shop, suggest she try out different looks. Talk her into a new 'do you think would flatter her face. If all else fails, stage an intervention with your wannabe Mini-me. Simply explain that you're not into matching get-ups and that you're friends for a reason: You both like the uniqueness each has to offer. Hopefully, with a little nudge nudge 1

not to tell anyone. But I told one friend on the bus and told her not to tell anyone. But, by the end of the day, our whole class knew! What should I do?

Oops. You slipped. Anytime a sentence is prefaced with, "Promise you won't tell anyone this, but ...," there's a good likelihood the person you're telling will repeat it--just like you did. That's how an entire school ends up knowing information meant to stay private. Now that you've messed up, it's time It's Time was a successful political campaign run by the Australian Labor Party (ALP) under Gough Whitlam at the 1972 election in Australia. Campaigning on the perceived need for change after 23 years of conservative (Liberal Party of Australia) government, Labor put forward a  for damage control. Your friend is going to realize you spilled the beans, so 'fess up and offer your most sincere apology. Then drop the subject rather than causing your friend further embarrassment. It takes a while to earn trust back, so she might just need time to get over it. And you might have to accept that she may not forgive it anytime soon.

his name, where he lives or anything about him. My mom doesn't talk about him, and I'm too scared to ask her. All my friends have offered to ask her for me, but then they back out. I've searched my house for clues, but I haven't had any luck. His name isn't even on my birth certificate! I'm wondering if I'm adopted. I need to know the truth. Any suggestions?

the house for clues, the best strategy for getting some answers is to deal with this situation head-on. Sit down with your mom and explain that you're nervous because it's a topic she hasn't brought up in the past, but that you have some questions. It's natural for you to be curious about your father and how you came into the world. Just make sure you're ready to face the truth. Unraveling a mystery is tempting, but be prepared for what you might hear.

My BFF was grounded for stealing money from her parents. I'm not supposed to know, but her mom told my mom and my mom told me. My parents think I should remain friends with her but not invite her over anymore--they think she might steal something. I don't know what to do. Should I talk to her about it?

. Since you're not supposed to know about your friend's transgression TRANSGRESSION. The violation of a law. , I'd steer clear of talking about it. It's probably something she's not exactly proud of and would like to remain private. Since all teens make mistakes, I agree that you shouldn't end the friendship. But I would reconsider the issue of having her in your home. This is obviously a question you should debate with your parents, but unless her stealing is a pattern, it was likely a mistake she's not bound to repeat. Suggest to your parents that you'll always be around her when she comes over to hang out. If they're adamantly against it, do things outside the house. Meet at the movies or take a kickboxing class together.
