The cellular modems allow mobile computer users to send and receive data and faxes via a cellular phone with the appropriate cellular phone connection. Each modem supports TX-CEL which is designed to significantly enhance cellular modem performance, connectivity and reliability regardless of error correction protocol used.

TX-CEL is a patented cellular modem firmware A category of memory chips that hold their content without electrical power. Firmware includes flash, ROM, PROM, EPROM and EEPROM technologies. It enhances existing cellular error correction methods by eliminating numerous link layer transmission errors which significantly improves data and fax throughput and reliability by reducing the number of retransmissions.

"TX-CEL's cost saving impact on cellular network connect time can be truly significant," said Steve Mills For the character in the "Shortland Street"" TV programme, see .
