The chamber presents the award each year to area young professionals who have made an impact on their professions and the community through leadership, mentoring and volunteerism. Nominations are made by chamber members; this year there were more than 100. The chamber board selects the 30 winners based on their answers to a variety of questions on leadership and team-building, as well as their list of achievements. He serves as board treasurer for the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank and the Tuscora Park Health & Wellness Foundation; and as director, board treasurer and Membership Committee member for Torchbearers, a young professionals organization organized to identify, develop and connect young leaders to serve their community. He is a graduate of the prestigious Leadership Akron initiative, and also devotes time guiding new accounting professionals as a mentor for the Ohio Society of CPAs. Moldvay is the firm's second recipient of the "30 for the Future" award. Last year, senior manager Danielle Kimmell received the honor.
