Swinburne, Stephen R. BOBCAT: North America's Cat. ISBN 1-56397-843-1. Honesdale, PA: Caroline House, 2001. 32 pp. $15.95. This is a wonderful book about bobcats. Through amazing photographs, detailed diagrams, and fact-filled text, readers can learn about the habitat, behavior, and hunting skills of the North American bobcat. The author describes a bobcat-tracking mission. Although the bobcat proves elusive, its trackers uncover much interesting evidence along the way indicating that a bobcat had indeed been in the area.
